Carolyn died of mesothelioma on April 26, 2002; artgroove.com will be maintained and developed indefinitely to provide access to her art and information about her life. For approximately the last nine years of her life, Carolyn kept an art studio at Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco. Together with many other artists, she held Open Studio two weekends each year (Fall and Spring). We encourage you to continue to investigate the wonderful and varied art at these ongoing Open Studio weekends, or to pursue great artists wherever you live.
